My Journey

My story with animal communication began after the loss of my beloved soul dog, Roxie, and one transformative experience volunteering at overpopulated and underserved animal shelters in rural Arkansas.

Roxie was my best friend, my confidant, my consoler. She was truly everything to me starting the day I met her when I was 10 years old. She helped me navigate heartbreak, loss, and uncertainty. Our connection was like no other and I truly felt she understood me on a soul level. After her passing, I received messages from her via other animal communicators confirming things I felt true to my core. I wondered if I'd ever be able to telepathically communicate with her or if that was a far reaching dream that wouldn't be possible for me.

After some time, I decided to become a dog foster for a local rescue. Every year, the group embarks on a 5 day service trip to Arkansas where they help abandoned, neglected, and abused dogs from high-kill shelters in Central Arkansas and beyond. These shelters are where the foster organization pulls their adoptable dogs from giving them a second chance at life. I decided that even if this was a highly emotionally charged experience, it was one I felt called to participate in.

Spending days directly interacting with these vulnerable and scared dogs changed my entire perspective on the relationship between animal and human. How can dogs truly and unconditionally love humans after they did the unspeakable to them? What are the lived stories of these dogs and how can they so easily forgive? What lessons can dogs teach us regarding virtues such as loyalty, faith, hope, forgiveness and love? These questions ate at me, instilling a deeply rooted need to help these dogs heal and assist them in finding their forever homes they so greatly deserve.

Upon returning from this service trip, I immediately spent all of my free time consuming animal communication content. I read countless books, listened to podcasts, followed other animal communicators, and looked into courses so that I could relearn this birth-given skill. I dove right in to a course taught by Val Heart of The Heart School of Animal Communication, followed by a mentorship group lead by Jenny of Bluebird Animal Communication. I've attended a few virtual telepathic communication classes through the Arthur Findlay College and have attended countless seminars exploring the different modalities and specialties that make up animal communication.

I am eager to continue learning, growing, and exploring how I can best serve our animal companions.

With Love & Light,

Emily
